Once again, its the time of the year for penangites to celebrate the much anticipated Bon Odori Festival. If you have not experienced Bon Odori before, Bon Odori is actually a Japanese traditional summer dance celebration where people perform folk dances to show appreciation for family and ancestors as well as to welcome ancestral spirits to earth.
There will be all kinds of Japanese food and drinks available on that day. Coupon booklets for RM20 are available at Shin Taima and Japanese food outlets such as Sushi King, Nippon Yataimura, Kirishima, Ajinoren, and Tsuruya.
