Oktoberfest 2011 Penang is Back!!

Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year in Munich, Germany during late September (and running to early October). It is one of the most famous events in Germany and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year, and is enjoyable event with an important Bavarian culture.

The Munich Oktoberfest, traditionally, takes place up to sixteen days including the first Sunday in October.

Here in Penang, the MGS organizes our very own Oktoberfest Penang now for the 39th time. More than 1400 visitors are expected to turn up for this event this year making Oktoberfest Penang the biggest Oktoberfest in Malaysia! Not only the German expatriates supported the event, locals too made the event livelier by participating in several contest at the event.

There will also be a variety of game stations and prizes to be won.
Also don't miss out on the amazing German food and a variety of German Beers served at the fest.

Good food and of course, lotsa Beers!

Looking for B&L roaming roadshow promoters

FYI, B&L is the famous brand for contact lenses. Bausch & Lomb.

Vacancies: 2 Female Promoters , 2 Male Promoters & 1 Supervisor
(must be very talkative and sporting) (not wearing any glasses)

Date: 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th August 2011 (4 days in total)
-applicants must be able to commit all 4 days of work

Working hours: 11am - 7pm (1 hour break at 2 till 3pm)

Venue: Roaming around Penang. To various colleges, business areas, etc.

Job scope :-

- Go around the colleges and business area to approach potential customers

- Distribute leaflets about the ongoing campaign with the microsite URL.

- Using Camcorder to engage potential consumers in an interview.

- Snap a polaroid of before and after they take off their glasses and as a token of appreciation, give the polaroids to the participants as well as B+L RM38 cash voucher.

Supervisor must be a male, experienced in working as supervisor in other roadshows, not afraid to control team and give instructions, be able to drive a Mitsubishi Triton (4 wheel drive) as the roaming roadshow car. Car will be provided.

Pay: For promoters (male n female) RM 120/day
For supervisor (Male) RM 150/day
